My first opportunity working with Steve Donboch and Drymatic was a particularly challenging job. The customer had tile floors in a bathroom where a toilet had been leaking under the crawlspace for a considerable amount of time, causing some wood rot on a floor joist. They lived in a nice home and were very persistent in finding a drying solution that would allow them to keep their tile floors without needing any demo from inside the home. We were challenged because the crawlspace door was so small that our normal heat drying equipment could not fit. Luckily, Steve had just been by our office explaining some benefits of his system and how they had used it to dry a similar situation where the tile was left in place. I gave him a call and he offered to meet me at the jobsite. Steve brought out his low profile Drymatic boosts which fit easily into the crawlspace, and using the mats, we were able to put the heat exactly where it was needed. Inside the home we put a pedestal mat around the toilet which kept the heat on the floor in an awkward space other drying equipment can sometimes be challenged with. The flexible mat system was easy to work with and less cumbersome than the hard plastic mats we normally use. The subfloor beneath the tile was successfully dried, to the great relief of the homeowner, without the need for removing any materials inside the home. Overall, it is a versatile system that has many benefits over other heat drying systems and we were impressed with its performance.

We have been using the heat drying equipment from DBK for the past 15 months. Trial and error has been a large part of the learning along with the course DBK Australia with Garry Carroll provided. Success is measured in the materials and ability of drying different and more challaging situations. Great innovations from the team at DBK and have no problems recommending if you are getting into restoration.
Have attended a couple training courses with Garry and Upon completion I was highly satisfied that I got the information that I went there for. The thing I really liked is that I was able to do the training I wanted to do with out being told I had to do this and that other course as prerequisite. Garry's no "BS" approach to teaching and the fountain of knowledge would be an asset to anyone in the industry. As for the heat drying equipment and training, if you haven't gotten on board yet I suggest it's time you do. Garry will show you how to grow a better and more profitable business!
Many thanks to Garry and the team :)
I have found Garry's training and knowledge one of the best. When I need help, he is there anytime of the day or night and weekend. The Drymatic heat drying has been so good for my business to help dry out walls and wooden flooring, my customers are happy with the results we are getting thanks Garry for all your help.
Thanks to drymatic and Garry we were able to save a client's wooden floor, which otherwise would have needed to be ripped out. The client had severe allergies, so she was extremely happy with the system and the ease of which everything was able to be restored. Not only did Garry spend his Saturday training us to set up and use the system, but he also helped us carry the gear up five levels using only the stairs as the lift was out of action. I would highly recommend Garry and drymatic for anyone requiring specialized drying equipment. The training and knowledge is second to none.
B M Babbage Ltd are always keen to embrace new technologies and our business succeeds due to the investments we make in new technologies and methodologies. Our first experience with DBK was back in 2013 where we were invited to attend a training day at their manufacturing facility in Llantrisant, South Wales. The standard of training was excellent and the content was clear and easy to understand; DBK’s facility was also extremely impressive and I would recommend that others take the short trip there to see what DBK does. The equipment did everything that DBK promised and more with the use of controlled and targeted heat in the drying process significantly reducing our drying times compared with traditional methods such as refrigerant technology. DBK are always available at the end of the telephone and go above and beyond to support their clients.

We have recently trialled the Drymatic Boost boxes supplied by DBK Technitherm and found them to be an excellent solution to the problem of safely getting heat into a building.
In a recent claim in Edzell, Aberdeenshire we were faced with a common difficulty.
A nearby stream had breached its banks causing water to flood into a development of around 20 modern detached properties. The water had entered the solums via the air bricks reaching a height of around 12 inches. This caused water damage to the joists and saturated large areas of the under floor glass wool insulation.
Crucially there was no sign of water ingress to the living areas of the property, our client had no desire to be unnecessarily disturbed and wanted to avoid any major strip out of flooring.
With the use of standard air movers and 3 boost boxes we were able to dry out the solum, joists and insulation within a matter of weeks. The only disruption to the householder was the cutting of inspection hatches to correctly position the equipment. The air movers created the air flow and the Boost boxes provided the heat required to remove the residual moisture within the insulation.
In contrast, neighbours were moved out and significant strip outs were authorised. It is estimated these claims will be around £35,000 with significant disruption, alternative accommodation, storage costs and increased claim lifecycle.
Our solution reduced the claim period to under 6 weeks, allowed the client to remain in the property and significantly reduced the total claim spend to around £6,000.
We first worked with DBK in 2012 when we were initially introduced to the DBK Drymatic System. The technology was relatively new to the market at the time and we were keen to embrace the heat drying methodology that was being promoted by various individuals within Damage Management. DBK were supportive throughout the whole process offering training and on-site support during our first installation. The equipment was effective and reliable whilst more importantly delivering on the promise of significantly reduced drying times and strip-out. We would strongly advocate the use of the DBK Drymatic system and look forward to any future innovations brought to market by DBK.

"The Drymatic system has repeatedly provided a quicker, less destructive method of drying a water damaged property, allowing us to restore properties within a shorter programme and return customers to their homes considerably quicker than most traditional methods."
In all our dealings with DBK we have found them to provide a friendly, professional service with prompt delivery on any equipment purchase.
We have found the DBK machine, when coupled with the drying mat system, to provide a dynamic drying solution. The Drymatic system has repeatedly provided a quicker, less destructive method of drying a water damaged property, allowing us to restore properties within a shorter programme and return customers to their homes considerably quicker than most traditional methods. This has resulted in happier home owners and, we assume, happier insurers due to reduced indemnity spend. We have found the equipment reliable and quiet, which has been especially important in blocks of flats.

We have only recently been introduced to the DBK Drymatic system and due to it being a relatively new technology there is a steep learning curve. Despite this our experience of the system was extremely positive and the equipment did a great job.

Our business has seen such a huge change in the way we are expected to dry properties, times are definitely moving forward. We met DBK at the reunion and felt they are the market leaders when it comes to the new products, equipment, and etc. I feel they are one step ahead of the game when it comes to our industry and feel that they really know their stuff.
We ordered their start-up kit at the reunion, and since have ordered a few more of their systems and mats, we have seen our drying days drop. I've also noticed that our local loss adjusters are acknowledging that we are using these products and are already advising they are impressed at how quick we can dry a property, Now, I'm hoping this will result in those people wanting to give work to us, so definitely a win-win all around.
We have been working with DBK for about 18 months and have found the service and support provided to be send to none, nothing has been too much trouble for them and we are comfortable in the knowledge that we can rely on them to support us as and when needed. Their staff are always a pleasure to deal with and after the great success of the Drymatic speed dryer we keenly look forward to the forthcoming release of the Drymatic mark 2. We sincerely thank you for all your help to date.

I used the Drymatic system on concrete floor with fantastic results. Other area of application was on wet chipboard floor, again with fantastic results. The team at Drymatic Australia provided great support and training on their products.
Drymatic systems have been an absolute pleasure for our network to use, with this more water affected dwellings are being given the DBK thermal heat treatment. The beauty of this is that this product is its diversity, it can be used on its own, or in conjunction with other mechanical dehumidification units. This product is enhanced by Alan who is always on hand to give guidance and their training program and facility is second to none.
The Drymatic systems have helped our business and the Rainbow International network as a whole to retain their place as the technical experts when drying out buildings.
