Insulated PTC Air Heater (HRP)
Insulated PTC Air Heaters of the HRP series are powerful heaters for homogeneous heating of air flows. They consist of slim aluminum profiles with press-fitted heating elements, and heating fins in either V or delta shape. Cover rails at both ends are equipped with a T-slot for easy installation and for attaching accessories. Thanks to their encapsulated PTC heating elements, the HRP series features a higher resistance to moisture and dirt. This allows them to fulfill high technical demands, which significantly increases their range of application - from railway applications to building air conditioning.
HRP are available in different versions with power outputs up to nearly 3kW. They come in three standard sizes (S, M, L) with either V- or delta-shaped fins. HRPs with delta fins achieve a considerably lower pressure drop with a minimally reduced power output and are particularly suitable for high-volume air flows or lower-performance fans. Insulated air heaters can be operated at a voltage of 115V OR 230V.
PTC Air Heaters come with all advantages of the PTC heating technology. Thanks to the PTC effect, the heating elements dynamically adjust their power without exceeding a maximum temperature. High operational reliability and energy efficiency without any additional switching elements.
